al kostat/Alkimia — Notable Wine List in Barcelona
We are not huge fans of the restaurant itself — it feels a little too sterile for our taste. The wine list, however, is genuinely interesting.
This is where we fell in love with the newer, lighter and more elegant style of Spanish wines that reminds us somewhat of producers such as Burlotto in Piedmont, particularly from Priorat and the area around Madrid. They have, for example, a great selection of Terroir al Límit and some rare bottles from Comando G.
