Osteria Condal — Restaurant Review in Barcelona
Osteria Condal is a brand-new Spanish-Italian concept from Paolo Casagrande of Lasarte and young chef Andrea Fiori, and it immediately became one of our Barcelona favourites. At €70, the tasting menu offers extraordinary value, with standout dishes such as the best pasta we have had in the city so far.
The Spanish-Italian fusion concept works extremely well, and a €70 tasting menu at this level feels almost unheard of. The pasta course was a highlight, while the beautiful dining room, formerly home to Tickets and later Teatro, makes the whole experience feel special. We would not be surprised to see Osteria Condal receive a Michelin star in its first year, and if it were up to us, it would already have one. The wine list is decent, focused mainly on Spanish bottles with some Italian options, although we were hoping for more depth on the Italian side and prices are noticeably less generous than the food.
