IPPUDO — Restaurant Review in Barcelona
Ippudo is our favourite ramen place from Japan, offering excellent traditional tonkotsu ramen alongside very good alternatives, including vegetarian options. The starters are equally enjoyable, especially the pork Hirata buns and the fried takoyaki.
Whenever we want proper tonkotsu ramen, this is a very reliable choice. There are plenty of alternatives too, including a very good vegetarian ramen, so it works well even if not everyone wants the classic version. The starters are excellent, especially the Hirata buns, with the pork bun being our favourite. The takoyaki are fried and therefore quite different from what you would typically get in Osaka, but they are still delicious. We have no idea whether they even have a wine list, but that hardly matters because you do not go to Ippudo to drink wine.
