Carnal Steak House is one of our favourite steakhouses in Barcelona, especially for larger groups, with a stylish setting, very good meat and prices that remain surprisingly reasonable. The Black Angus cheek croquettes are a standout, and the wine list offers plenty of solid pairings without becoming excessively expensive.
It works especially well if you are coming with a larger group. The setting is stylish and slightly theatrical, with a vibe that somehow makes you feel a little bit like you have stepped into an episode of Narcos. The meat ranges from good to very good and is fairly priced for the quality and atmosphere. The Black Angus cheek croquettes are among our favourite croquettes in the city and worth ordering every time. The wine list is perfectly solid, with plenty of good options for steak and prices that are refreshingly reasonable.
